Learning in nature

I’m Jen, a Forest School leader and outdoor educator from North Devon, UK.

When I’m at home, I work with local schools to provide outdoor learning opportunities for children. I also run woodland activity days during school holidays.

Right now I’m off on an adventure thanks to the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust UK. I’m going to search amongst the roots of Forest School in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. I’m looking for inspiration and examples of best practice so that we can ensure outdoor experience is an integrated and effective part of a child’s education.
